Today is the day we have been waiting for, what seems to be, years! In reality, It has only been about 2 months. The picture below is what I believe is going to happen today. I imagine it wont be any prettier than a backhoe tossing rocky dirt into a dump truck, but ill take the picture that is in my head.
We had our "Pre-construction Meeting" on Monday. Everything went over smoothly except for a missed option that ended up costing us another arm and a leg. I know that the missed option wasnt our fault, but what can you do? I feel like this is where Ryan really has the upper hand on you. I guess this is another lesson to watch what you are signing carefully.
On a positive note, I feel like we have a really cool, down to earth Project Manager. He seems like he is going to be very fun and easy to work with.
